It means I can now use a simple grep on the exim log file to see the ratio of spam (and other unwanted stuff like virii) to genuine mail.<\/p>\n<p>And the results (since the logfile was last rolled over just under five hours ago) are:<\/p>\n<p><i style=\"display : block; width : 500px; margin : 15px 0 15px 100px;\tpadding : 10px 20px; border-left : 8px solid #aaa; border-right : 4px solid #aaa; color : green; font : 1.2em normal System, 'Lucida Console';\"><br \/>\n[04:45:48 root]$ grep Completed mainlog | wc -l<br \/>\n    107<br \/>\n[space-monster:\/var\/log\/exim]<br \/>\n[04:48:01 root]$ grep rejected mainlog | wc -l<br \/>\n  11871<br \/>\n[space-monster:\/var\/log\/exim]<br \/>\n[04:48:05 root]$ grep Rejected mainlog | wc -l<br \/>\n   3197<br \/>\n<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Which is to say, 11871 junk, 3197 of which were viruses, 107 legitimate mails.  <\/p>\n<p>Welcome to the internets.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Stumbleupon Review of : http:\/\/sourceforge.net\/projects\/sa-exim\/ Just set this up yesterday, rather than my previous configuration of Exim with a SpamAssassin router.
