Stumbleupon Review

'Do you like this place?' asked Sniff in surprise, looking at the desolation all around them.

'Certainly I do,' said Snufkin. 'Look as that black velvet tree with the beautiful grey colours beyond; look at the mountains that are deep purple-red in the distance! And sometimes a big blue buffalo comes to look at himself in the river.'

'You aren't by any chance - er - a painter?' asked Moomintroll rather shyly.

'Or perhaps a poet?' suggested Sniff.

'I am everything!' said Snufkin, putting on the kettle.

I'm Chiquita Banana, and I've come to say

Bananas have to ripen in a certain way.

And when they are flecked with brown

and have a golden hue,

Bananas taste the best, and are the best

for you.

You can put them in a salad. You can put

them in a pie - aye.

Anyway you want to eat them it's

impossible to beat them.

But bananas like the climate of the very,

very tropical equator.

So you should never put bananas in the

refrigerator.

And now you know! Keep those bananananananas out of the refrigerator peeps, and you'll never go wrong in life.

If trees gushed blood
When they were felled
By meddling man,
And crimson welled

From every gash
His axe can give,
Would he forbear,
And let them live?

Like a bird on the wire,
like a drunk in a midnight choir
I have tried in my way to be free.
Like a worm on a hook,
like a knight from some old fashioned book
I have saved all my ribbons for thee.
If I, if I have been unkind,
I hope that you can just let it go by.
If I, if I have been untrue
I hope you know it was never to you.

Like a baby, stillborn,
like a beast with his horn
I have torn everyone who reached out for me.
But I swear by this song
and by all that I have done wrong
I will make it all up to thee.
I saw a young man leaning on his wooden crutch,
he said to me, "You must not ask for so much."
And a pretty woman leaning in her darkened door,
she cried to me, "Hey, why not ask for more?"

Oh like a bird on the wire,
like a drunk in a midnight choir have tried in my way to be free.

in the woods on the faery hill in aberfoyle, all the trees have numbers.
presumably this is so that man and faery kind may both know that the other isn't stealing trees.
as that sort of thing, sadly, does go on.
cows as well.
this is number 33, it hasn't been stolen.
